At CES 2017, Acer introduces a new family of laptops focused on areas multimedia and gaming here Aspire V Nitro Black Edition.
Acer has two of these today announced three new devices in the Aspire series: are high-performance laptops with high and new-generation high-end hardware, the other is a desktop PC family. The three systems are designed to provide users with ” maximum performance and maximum fun. ”

Both laptops are equipped with Intel Core i7-7700HQ seventh-generation processors, capable of managing content in video at 4K resolution and with the latest technologies to save energy. Combined with the new CPUs are the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050, feature that casts new portable systems manufacturer also towards an audience of gamers, and not just fans and ” enthusiast ” with multimedia needs.
Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition is available with an optional built-in hardware Tobii Eyetracking that, when combined with the gesture of the touch pad, improves productivity and makes the device more responsive through the use of eye movements. Users are able to move more quickly and easily between applications and programs with just a glance, and eye tracking system is also compatible with over 45 games like Elite Dangerous, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Watch Dogs 2.
Under the aluminum cover are also up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory, expandable to 32 GB using two soDIMM modules, an SSD NVMe PCIe or SATA, and a HDD that allows up to 2 TB of additional capacity. To facilitate the circulation of air inside the chassis has been incorporated a metal fan Acer Aeroblade, while the Coolboost technology allows users to control the cooling system also in manual mode.
In the laptop, there is also an interesting solution to remove the accumulation of dust, which is formed inevitably in time using two high-speed fans with reverse rotation. Extensive connectivity is guaranteed by a Type-C USB port with Thunderbolt 3 and the support for a double simultaneous video output 4K, two USB 3.0 ports (one able to recharge the devices also switched off PC), two USB 2.0 ports and HDMI connection.
Aspire V Nitro Black Edition connects to Wi-Fi through technology 802.11ac 2×2 MU-MIMO, while there is a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to a wired network. The display is 15.6″ and optionally is also offered in Ultra HD 4K version. To enhance the characteristics of the screen, Acer has integrated the Color Intelligence system, which dynamically adjusts the settings to optimize in real time colors, brightness and saturation. The portable finally includes four speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer Truearmony Plus.
