Samsung Electronics today launched a new memory card types: Samsung EVO Plus 256GB is the micro-SD with more storage space available in its market segment. It is a card capable of surprise also on the performance front, comparable to those of a hard disk of high-end. In this case, the data declared by the manufacturer are 95 and 90MB / s respectively for the transfer rate for reading and writing data.

The memory card (UHS-1 Class 10) will appeal to an audience certainly enthusiast that has very specific requirements, can be inserted on smartphones and tablet compatible, but also on more specific devices. Among the popular ones drones, action camera and video-recorder at 360°, all trends constantly increasing and that require fast data storage systems (for video at 60fps or 4K), yet very capacious.
According to data released by Samsung card can hold up to 12 hours of video at 4K resolution and up to 33 hours of video recording in Full HD, as well as up to 23,500 MP3 files. The new microSD is water-resistant and has obtained IPX7 certification. Samsung EVO Plus 256GB will be available in the US, Europe, China and other regions at a price launch of $299.
