The market of PC solutions for gamers sees Acer working on two fronts: the Acer Gaming brand brings together solutions for casual gamers, while for the more passionate, the reference are the proposals of the Predator range.
The top of the range proposal for desktop systems is the Predator Orion 9000 model, based on Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition processors and capable of supporting video configurations with up to 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti cards, or 4 AMD Radeon RX Vega cards 64.
The choice of only two NVIDIA GeForce GTX video cards are linked to the limitations of the 4 GPU configurations implemented by NVIDIA, no longer supported at the driver level if not only for tests with some popular benchmarks. AMD, on the other hand, still supports CrossfireX configurations up to a maximum of 4 cards with all applications.
The cooling of the internal components is managed through 5 fans, combined with a liquid kit for the processor. The Ice Tuner 2.0 system, developed by Acer, divides the chassis area into independent sectors whose hot air is expelled outside: temperatures always under control for maximum performance.
For the avid gamer who wants to have a gaming platform always, available Acer proposes Predator Triton 700. It is a notebook for gaming with minimalist design, characterized by a slim design but not for this not very powerful.
The keyboard with RGB LED lighting confirms the gaming core of this product, which in spite of its competitors remains easily transportable.
