AOC AG273QX: New 27”, QHD and 165Hz gaming monitor

AOC AG273QX

AOC announces the new 27” (68.6 cm) AG273QX, gaming monitor of the third-generation AGON line. We talk about a solution with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time (MPRT) of 1 ms. The AG273QX is equipped with a 27” VA panel in QHD resolution (1440p) and boasts AOC Wide Color Gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.

The 165 Hz refresh rate allows the AG273QX to display a frame every 6 milliseconds, an extremely important feature for competitive players. Together with the 1 ms response time (MPRT), it is the feature that will most interest video gamers who expect high responsiveness from their monitor.

The AOC AG273QX 27” VA panel with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) has a 3000:1 static contrast ratio, while VESA DisplayHDR 400 support means it can reach a peak brightness of 400 nits.

AMD FreeSync 2 HDR adds low latency HDR tone mapping and Low Framerate Compensation (LFC) to offer gamers images without compromise in terms of tearing and stuttering. We are talking about a flat, elegant, frameless VA panel on 3 sides. Players who opt for a curved display may prefer their brothers AG273QCX or AG273QCG.

To help players transport their monitors to parties or LAN tournaments, the AG273QX is equipped with a carrying handle and ensures easy one-click and screwless assembly. The AOC AG273QX is also equipped with dual retractable headphone supports on each side and customizable Light FX RGB lights on the back.

Fans of first-person shooters will especially appreciate the DialPoint, AOCs aiming indicator, which places a crosshair in the center of the screen (if there isn’t one already present in the game). In addition, AOC Shadow Control can be adjusted in the OSD menu to lighten too dark areas or darken excessively bright areas, and AOC Game Color allows you to increase or decrease color saturation and gray levels.

Three pre-configured game modes (FPS, Racing, RTS) and three user-customizable modes offer easy access to useful presets. The updated AGON 3 Series OSD simplifies setting adjustments, but users can also use the G-Menu software to make further adjustments without using the OSD buttons.
