With the debut of the new Intel Core family processors for the Coffee Lake family, ASUS has announced the second version of its Zephyrus series gaming notebook. The new model, Zephyrus M GM501, integrates an Intel Core i7-8750H processor with 6-core architecture and 12 threads capable of a default clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and to go up to 4.2 GHz as a maximum via technology Turbo Boost.
This processor is flanked by an NVIDIA video card, with options available GeForce GTX 1060 and GeForce GTX 1070 models connected to a 15.6-inch diagonal screen with Full HD resolution and IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz., in light of the type of GPU, also support NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
The design of the new Zephyrus M series sees a major change at the top: the keyboard and touchpad take a standard position, changing compared to the first Zephyrus series that saw the keyboard behind the front of the base with a side touchpad programmable as a keypad numeric.
The display has undergone an update, adopting the same specifications as the Zephyrus M model: we find Full HD resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz.
