Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0 arrives on the Apple App Store

FUJIFILM Camera Remote

We had already written in the past that the Japanese company was thinking of updating its smartphone camera management app. Now the new Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0 finally arrives on the Apple App Store, which promises to be a remarkable leap forward.

With Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0 the user interface has been revised, which is now more modern and easier to use. Users who remember or have used the previous version will not find much in common, fortunately.

But that’s not all, because Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0 has corrected several bugs, allowing it to work with less hassle and waste of time. Obviously, all the main Fujifilm models are supported, and it will be possible to use remote shooting.

There is also the possibility to send to the smartphone, via Wi-Fi Direct, the photographs on the camera and not only one at a time but also more images. Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0 supports the acquisition of GPS data (for cameras that provide it).

It will also be possible to update the camera firmware directly from Fujifilm Camera Remote v4.0. Currently, the application is present only on the Apple App Store (for iOS on iPhone and iPad) while in May 2019 the version for Android will arrive.
