Google Play Store: here are the 49 applications with malware

As always, the applications in question are those that we usually find on the Google store and that at first glance are exactly identical to the harmless ones. On a technical level, even if the apps behave in a normal way after the first installation, after a few hours, so as not to catch the eye of the user, they download a remote configuration file that includes the malicious code.

In this specific case, the applications concern different genres with apps that seem to be simple fun games but also useful tools for editing the photos taken or videos recorded directly from the smartphone. Harmless apps, which can be harmful and above all cannot be tracked down by the user before their installation since they are identical to the ” healthy ” ones.
