HP has announced news regarding its Elite line products: to flesh out the lines of the offer of the US manufacturer have been announced the new HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2, the HP EliteBook 1040 G4 and the new desktop all-in- one HP EliteOne 1000 G1.
The latter is a very unique all-in-one, as modular: all the hardware is contained within the base, while the monitor is replaceable. Three different options are currently available: a 23.8-inch panel with 1080p resolution, a 27-inch panel with Ultra HD resolution and a 34-inch curved panel with 1440p resolution (less defined of the 27-inch alternative).
In contrast, the HP EliteBook 1040 G4 is a more traditional notebook model, but it also provides more processing power. Inside the chassis are placed processors up to Intel Core i7-7820HQ, 16 GB of RAM DDR4-2133, a solid-state drive PCIe Gen 3 up to 512 GB capacity and a wide variety of ports, including USB 3.1 (both ” classic ” and Type-C). An optional 4G module can also be installed.
Special feature of HP Elite solutions is the ability to use HP PhoneWise software that allows you to manage calls from your smartphone (Android or iOS) directly from the PC, allowing the user to use any existing equipment.
The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 is already on sale at $1,259 for the 23.8-inch variant and $1,499 for the 28-inch variant. The HP EliteBook 1040 G4 and HP EliteBook x360 1020 G2 will be available during the current month at $1,379. Prices are intended for basic models.
