It’s called Jaguar Vision GT Coupé and in essence it is an exercise in style created by the British car manufacturer to enter the world of high-performance electric cars: a project already widely developed but for the moment only in the digital world as this splendid car will be available exclusively within the well-known video game Gran Turismo Sport, starting from the end of November.
” This project has been completely supervised by our young creatives. It represented a unique opportunity in their lives to develop a vehicle steeped in the tradition of the brand. Pushing research on future design to the limit ” said Julian Thompson, Style Director at Jaguar.
Digital model yes but with a lot of real experience behind it for the realization of this car Jaguar has also bothered the engineers of its Racing department who have provided technical details combined with truthful quantities on which to base dynamics and performance that users will be able to experiment within the video game:
- Three motors : one front common to the relative axle, and two rear, one for each wheel.
- 750 kW and 1,020 hp, as well as 1,200 Nm of torque
- From 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds
- top speed above 320 km/h.
- About 1,400 kg.
A futuristic design but with many references to the iconic Jaguar forms, a really nice mix between technique and style, well-developed and studied in detail, a shame if it remains in the digital world of video games only.
