MSI P75 Creator is the new laptop designed to be used not so much by gamers but as content creators as designers, photographers or even those who work with three-dimensional animations or movies. Here’s what you need to know.
MSI P75 Creator: The Technical Features
The new MSI P75 Creator has a screen with reduced and diagonal 17.3″ edges with FHD resolution (but there is also a variant with a 4K screen) using an IPS panel. The dimensions are not as compact as those of a 15.6″ but thanks to the use of aluminum for the chassis the weight is contained in 8.58 pounds while the thickness touches 5.2 mm.
Being a model dedicated to the professional and non-gaming world, the look is more sober and without too many frills. But this does not mean that there is no hardware with good potential inside. The configuration of the MSI P75 Creator includes a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card with 8 GB of dedicated memory and the Intel Core i9 9880H (ninth generation) processor.
The system memory can be up to 32 GB thanks to two slots while the storage includes SSDs on a SATA interface (one) and a second SSD on NVMe PCIe Gen3. According to the manufacturer, operating autonomy should reach 8 hours, although it will then need to be tested in the field to see if promises will be kept.
Connection ports include a Type-C with standard USB 3.2 Gen2, DP, Thunderbolt 3, a Type-C USB 3.2 Gen1, three Type-A USB 3.2 Gen2, an RJ45, a Micro SD slot, audio jack and an HDMI. There is also Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0.
Together with the new MSI P75 Creator, the P65 Creator update was presented with updated hardware compared to what we tried recently (with some doubts). In this case, the P65 Creator 9SE has a 15.6″ FHD IPS IPS display plus an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU and Intel Core i7 9750H CPU.
