Olympus presents the OM-D E-M10 Mark III, Comes the 4K and the beginner mode

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III – Micro Four Thirds Sensor is 16MP and not 20, remaining on the previous generation, but there has been a sharp increase in performance in focus and AF points, ranging from 81 (previous generation) to 121.

Many other features, such as the excellent 5-axis stabilization on the sensor (which can be combined with the electronic one during movie recording), or the 8.6fps burst (before were 8.5, so a minimal difference) remain unchanged.

No new features on the display front, with a 3″ and 1.04MP touchscreen unit, and the 2.36MP OLED viewfinder. However, many adjustments have been made at the graphical and usability interface level to allow first-time amateurs to be less frustrated when switching between the smartphone and a camera.

Also integrated with the Bleach Bypass filter mode under the mode selector ART entry and improved Auto mode (previously called iAuto) that best recognizes scenes and subjects and applies the most suitable settings to get a well-exposed shot, also reducing the risk of movement.

Always have Wi-Fi for instant sharing of images with your smartphone, folding screen, pop-up flash and classic manual modes. The battery is credited with 330 shots (CIPA standard), and the weight remains lightweight: 410g, including card and battery. The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III will be available to the public from September 2017 at the suggested retail price of $649 for the body only.
