The new series of Plantronics Backbeat FIT headphone is intended for users looking for an interesting compromise between sound quality and the need for sport without cables.
The company has announced two different headphones – BackBeat FIT 300 and BackBeat FIT 500 – plus two special editions. In all cases, it is a Bluetooth headset.
The BackBeat FIT 300, in-ear headphones with cable passing behind the neck, are proposed by the manufacturer as ” the lightest in the world “, thus focusing on an important factor for sports such as running. The Backbeats FIT 500 are designed for those who play less animated sports and can wear a supraural headset. Plantronics states that the battery lasts for up to 18 hours, there is resistance to perspiration and the halls have memory foam padding. They will be available from November at a price of $99.99 in black and light blue colors.
The two special edition headphones – BackBeat FIT Training Edition and BackBeat FIT Boost Edition – are created in collaboration with PEAR, an application that provides the advice of a personal virtual trainer. Plantronics includes in both cases 12 personalized workouts on the PEAR application, plus six months of PEAR subscription; in the case of Boost Edition, it is also included an IPX5 certified portable battery that should guarantee up to 10 hours of use.
