Windows 10, new mandatory security patches for all versions: Here are the changelogs

Just five days after Patch Tuesday, Microsoft released new surprise cumulative updates for all supported Windows versions. Unlike the other updates outside the Patch Tuesday, the new patches are mandatory: this means that the system will try to install them on the next reboot, even if they are not requested manually. The news is not very many, and we report it below:

The new patches include only one major fix, which fixes a bug that caused the print job to fail under certain circumstances :

As with all cumulative updates, Windows 10 will download and install all previous packages that have not yet been installed, such as the optional ones released at the end of September. The user can also choose to force manual installation, via the Windows Update page of the Operating System Settings.
