Xiaomi Black Shark Helo: 10 GB of RAM and AMOLED display for smartphone gaming

The Black Shark division of Xiaomi has announced the new smartphone designed for gamers: Black Shark Helo, successor to Black Shark and with some refinements under the body. The smartphone has been officialized in China with a 6-inch display, this time AMOLED, with HDR support even in games with a dedicated chip for image processing. Under the chassis, with purely gaming aesthetics, we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with up to 10 GB of RAM.

The new Black Shark Helo guarantees more consistent performance over the long term thanks to a dissipation system revolutionized compared to the predecessor, with advantages that should be 8°C compared to the first Black Shark, and 12°C compared to the devices of the competition.

The fingerprint sensor is now on the back, where there is also the backlit logo through artificial intelligence algorithms, which establish the color of the LED according to what is reproduced in the game scene. The shell is in glass and metal with a particular design that gives the idea of 3D.

The antenna is designed with an ” X style “, while cameras and battery remain the same as the predecessor. On the new Black Shark Helo, there is also a ” SHARK ” button with two levels of pressure, designed naturally for video games, while in addition to the linkable gamepad of the predecessor (which is installed on the left) there is also a gamepad for the part of right with a touchpad. The company also showed a case that connects to the smartphone and which implements two fans to further improve the body’s cooling capacity and heat dissipation.
