Chinese and low prices. A combination that only a few years ago was inevitably accompanied by decisive compromises on quality and innovation. And if Xiaomi has already proven to be able to innovate with Mi Mix, it does not cease to amaze. In the past few hours, the Chinese manufacturer has announced Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, which is not its first laptop but a completely new product that fits into another market segment compared to Mi Notebook Air.
All with an absolutely interesting price: 5,599 Yuan for the entry-level version, up to 6,999 Yuan for the version with 16 GB of RAM and SSD PCIe from 256 GB. The laptop was presented on Monday in the same launch event of Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3: inside we will find Intel Core i5 and Core i7 eighth generation processors inside a shell, about 1 cm and a half thick.
Everything is hidden by a shell in magnesium and aluminum alloy with a surface of 360.7 x 243.6 mm and a thickness of 15.9 mm thanks to a redesigned system for internal dissipation. The computer weighs 1.95 kilograms. Thanks to the available space there is a full-size backlit keyboard with more space for typing, a wide range of ports (two USB-C, two USB-A, HDMI, 3.5 mm jack and card slot for SD memory).
