Galaxy Note 4: 4.5 million units sold in a single month
About a month after its launch, the first results are plotted commercial Samsung Galaxy Note 4. There are 4.5 million units sold, slightly less than its predecessor, but still a notable achievement. The last quarterly of the company have not been particularly good for Samsung, increasingly difficult to cope with the arrival of Chinese brands in Western markets. In addition to an access price very interesting, the latter (Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Meizu, Huawei) are reaching levels of quality such as to worry the most renowned producers on a more purely commercial.
In this context, it is interesting to evaluate the results of the last commercial top of the line Samsung, also because of the structural choices made by the company from Galaxy Alpha. The new high-end devices are completed with premium finishes and aluminum frames, in addition to the ” traditional ” technical specifications of particular value. In this way, Samsung wants to differentiate itself more from the Chinese market by offering an added value compared to the latter.
According to reports from News1, Galaxy Note 4 sold 4.5 million units in the first month of sales, a remarkable figure considering that is available from September 26 in South Korea and a few other markets, and in many international markets sold only by a few weeks. In comparison, Samsung placed on the market of 5 million units Galaxy Notes 3 in the first month of sales with the launch, in that case of much broader scope.
The numbers also do not include sales of Galaxy Note Edge, currently distributed only in a few markets and particularly low volumes. Galaxy Note 4 is also a niche product in the line-up of Samsung, which is primarily to drive sales of the flagship Galaxy S family (in addition to low-end devices). At present, it is difficult to draw a clear picture on the sales of new Galaxy Notes 4, but the numbers reported to so far suggest a great start.
