Apple presented a multitude of new features, especially services, that users will be able to exploit in the coming months. Interesting news concerning not only the news with the new Apple News+ (unfortunately only in the USA at the moment) but also Apple TV+, that is the TV with original series made in Cupertino, Apple Arcade for the games in subscription and finally also Apple Card that is the card of credit created for iPhone.

The update to macOS 10.14.4 Mojave mainly concerns stability, compatibility and security. Here users with this update will find above all the possibility of pairing the new second generation AirPods but also the support for the news coming next fall.

  • Adds support for dark mode for websites that support custom color schemes.
  • Optimize login to websites when credentials are entered by automatically filling in passwords.
  • Allows you to view the request for receiving push notifications only after interacting with a website.
  • Add an alert when loading unsafe web pages.
  • Removes support for the obsolete ” Do Not Track ” standard to prevent the potential inappropriate use; intelligent monitoring prevention now protects by default from detection between websites.

iTunes

  • More featured editorial content on a single page in the Discover panel, to more easily find new music, playlists and more in Apple Music.

AirPods

  • Adds support for new AirPods (second generation) earphones.

Other

  • Support for the air quality index in Maps for the United States, United Kingdom and India.
  • Improves the quality of audio recordings in Messaging.
  • Improved support for external GPUs in Activity Monitoring.
  • Addresses an issue in the App Store that could have prevented the use of the latest version of Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie and GarageBand.
  • Improve the reliability of USB audio devices when used with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac mini models introduced to the market in 2018.
  • Corrects the default screen brightness for MacBook Air (autumn 2018).
  • Resolves an image compatibility issue that may have occurred on some external monitors connected to Mac mini (2018).
  • Resolves some Wi-Fi connection problems that could occur after updating to macOS Mojave.
  • Resolves an issue where, by adding an Exchange account again, it may no longer be visible in Internet Accounts.
  • Resolves an issue where AOL user passwords could be requested frequently in Mail.

Before making the update, remember to make a backup of your Mac. Then, if your computer has OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 or later, you can update it directly to macOS Mojave.
