Apple: Two new products for musicians on iOS

The second change concerns the 2.1 update for iOS GarageBand which introduces LiveLoops features: drawing inspiration from the hardware controller for DJ and drum machines, the functionality makes it easy for anyone to create musical patterns by simply touching cells and columns in a very immediate grill visually to activate different tools in loops and samples. Live Loops provides a library of loop models created by Apple in a variety of genres, including EDM, Hip Hop, Dubstep and rock, but alternatively you can create your own loops from scratch. Loops can be performed, arranged and remixed live, and GarageBand automatically keeps all the beats in sync with time and perfect pitch.

GarageBand for iOS 2.1 introduces the new Drummer function with nine EDM and virtual sessions of acoustic drums with a distinctive sound, as well as an expanded selection of amplifiers for bass players. Advanced users can create songs from GarageBand even more dynamic and clear sound using the new automation features, the recording controls and a new simple EQ. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the app now supports 3D Touch, which allows you to play with more expression.

Music Memo is available for free on the App Store and is compatible with iPhone 4s and later, and iPad 2 and later.
