Asus announces the devices that will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The Taiwanese company has announced the list of devices that will receive the latest Android update, version 6.0 or Marshmallow.

Asus has announced what will be the devices of their line-up who will receive the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, at the time of this writing the latest version of Android available on the market. Lollipop than Android 6.0 brings in the news Doze, a power-saving mode for the app in the background; Now on Tap, to quickly get information about the items in the screen; and a new permit system to protect user privacy.

  • ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML, ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE600KL, ZE601KL)

We do not know yet if the Taiwanese company has planned the arrival of Android 6.0 marshmallows in the future for other devices, although at the moment, it seems that the only ones who will receive the models mentioned in the list. Among these, we must especially pay attention to the code in brackets, as not all of the various families smartphones will be upgraded to the latest version of the operating system.

The company has not yet revealed the timing when the update will arrive on different devices, so at the moment it seems likely that the first roll-out will be launched no earlier than the end of the year.
