Asus announces the motherboard B150 Pro Gaming/Aura
Asus renews the offer of motherboards with the new B150 Pro Gaming/Aura, based on a chipset Intel B150 and an audio sector, network and cooling optimized for gaming. It is offered at a recommended price of $129.
The Taiwanese manufacturer announced the availability of the new ATX B150 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard, intended for users in search of components suitable for use gaming. Asus to give substance to the mother board based on Intel B150 – which ensures compatibility with Intel’s sixth-generation – has adopted special technique’s useful solutions to improve performance in the field of gaming.
We start with the SupremeFX and Sonic Radar II technologies that enhance audio playback. The first ensures high-fidelity audio with a signal/noise ratio (SNR) of 115 dB stated; special shielding, then, protects the motherboard by electromagnetic interference, while the 5V power supply avoids the negative effects arising from electrical faults. The audio performance is improved also from components choice that includes a codec Realtek ALC1150.
The Intel Gigabit Ethernet port allows you to reduce CPU overloads and ensures high performance in the management of the TCP and UDP protocols, saving one computing power that can be used for the operation of gambling. The online gaming experience also benefits from Asus LanGuard technology, which ensures a pair of signal and quality connectors, and GameFirst that handles the packets with priority given to those games and favorite app.

Worthy of mention appear, also, the cooling system with the connector for the water pump and the Fan Xpert 3 controls, device’s thanks to which aspects of thermal dissipation and that of the noise will combine the best. The technology RAMCache adopted by the new B150 Pro Gaming/Aura, reduces the loading time of games doing caching storage devices. The high performance of the motherboard does not jeopardize the long-term reliability by adopting Gamer’s Guardian components, including the VRM (Voltage-Regulator Module) Digi, dedicated to CPU, and technology DRAM over current protection, which takes away from the damage caused by over current or short-circuit.
The long-life capacitors are able to withstand variation of temperatures particularly large (from -55° C to -105° C) and also the rear I/O panel is designed to withstand over time thanks to the use Stainless Steel corrosion.
As a product designed for users who, probably, will provide first-person assembly of the product, there are some things that improve and simplify this activity.
