In recent days ASUS has announced on the Italian territory ASUS Chromebox 3, a Mini-PC suitable for everyone.
ASUS has announced the arrival of a Mini-PC with Chrome OS operating system: it is ASUS Chromebox 3. The company does not aim at a specific audience, but with this product tries to involve an audience with different needs: from home to office use, from entertainment to study.
The multiple possible configurations are designed precisely from this different user; Chromebox 3 adopts Intel eighth-generation processors: we can find in the basic configuration an Intel Celeron 3865U, up to Intel Core i7-8550U in the best configuration.
In the case of the Celeron family processor, the matched GPU will be an integrated Intel HD Graphics 610; in the higher-end configurations, on the other hand, an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 will be combined. As for the memory compartment, the RAM varies between 4GB and 16GB DDR4-2400, the storage is managed by an SSD M.2 with capacities ranging between 32GB and 256GB.
As already mentioned above, the operating system is Chrome OS that natively supports the Android content available on Google Play. On Chromebox 3 there is a USB Type-C port, which offers several benefits, including fast transfer, power and DisplayPort functionality. In addition, it can support two 4K/UHD monitors.
ASUS, with Chromebox 3, has paid particular attention to security: the device is updated automatically ensuring the user always have the latest software versions and security patches to stay protected from viruses, malware and other threats on the web.
