The 30x optical zoom starts with a focal length of 24mm. The Wi-Fi connectivity is one of its strengths, with the ability to share your photos on the fly using smartphones and tablets, including the use of GPS to geotag these photos. As for the video industry, the machine records movies in Full HD 1080p.

Cheaper sister PowerShot SX170 IS feature’s 16x zoom optics from the equivalent focal length of 28mm and with 16 mega pixel sensor. Canon PowerShot SX510 HS and PowerShot SX170 IS will be on sale from late August 2013.
