Chuwi HiPen H6 launched: here is the pen with 4096 pressure levels for the Surface

The new pen designed for UBook Pro costs fifth of the Surface Pen and can be used with all models of Surface devices with touch-screens.

Equipped with Intel Core m3-8100Y processor, 8GB of RAM plus 128GB of storage space and, above all, an ” ultra-portable ” design, Chuwi UBook Pro is an excellent system for those who need to perform productivity jobs on the move. It is a 2-in-1, to the Surface to be clear, whose crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo ended last week with investments by over 500 users all over the world.

During the campaign, the manufacturer improved the pen, which went from 2048 to 4096 pressure levels. The new Chuwi HiPen H6 is not only compatible with the 2-in-1 owner, but also with all tablets, notebooks and 2-in-1s of the Microsoft Surface family with touch-screen.

The greater sensitivity of the new pen allows, for example: a better precision in graphics and drawing software, with the user who can does the force in a more painstaking way in order to obtain more or less thick or marked strokes.

Furthermore, when drawing or taking notes with the new HiPen H6, a mode for detecting the palm on the screen is enabled, even in the presence of multi-touch screens the software recognizes as input only those dictated by the tip of the pen, without false positives and without dirtying the final document. The manufacturer also promises high operational autonomy, both in stand-by and in use: specifically, the plate data speak of 90 days of continuous writing and up to 180 days of stand-by.

The possibility of charging the HiPen H6 through the Micro-USB port along the top is also very interesting: inside there is a rechargeable high-density lithium-ion battery that must not be replaced with other batteries once it is empty. Furthermore, as we wrote above, the Chuwi HiPen H6 is compatible with all systems of the Microsoft Surface family, since it uses the same Microsoft Pen Protocol as the products of the Redmond company.

The HiPen H6 also costs a fifth compared to the Surface Pen, and we want to stand as an alternative to the official Microsoft product with a more attractive quality-price ratio also for writing or drawing on the Surface family devices.
