Enermax Platimax DF power supplies: 1200 W in only 160 mm depth

Enermax, after the series of top-of-the-range MaxTytan power supplies presented a few weeks ago, announces the availability of another new PSU family that stands out for its excellent power-to-size ratio: we talk about the Platimax DF products available in various sizes, more precisely 500, 600, 850, 1,050 and 1,200 W.
All these new power supplies are based on 80 PLUS Platinum standards and a completely modular cable system. Each device also provides the end user with the self-cleaning technology DFR (Dust Free Rotation), which, using the button at the back of the power supply, allows you to manually activate the self-cleaning function, which consists in reversing the direction of rotation of the fan so as to move and release the dust accumulated over time.
Spearhead of this series? definitely the model with 1,200 W power, which stands out on the market as it is the first power supply of this size and efficiency contained in only 160 mm, thus offering more power and greater flexibility in the choice of houses: already starting from powers around at 1,000 W it is easy to find feeders with higher dimensions that stand between 180 mm and 225 mm.
All Platimax units also incorporate intelligent control for fan operation: fanless mode before 30 ~ 40% to ensure completely silent operation, when system load exceeds this percentage, the fan starts spinning and its speed is adjusted gradually based on system load.
