First image and details on the New Olympus E-M10

What you see above is the first image of Olympus OM-D E-M10 which we talked a few days ago. As it was expected the new mirrorless Micro, Four Thirds will be small, most of the E-M5, and will include a pop-up flash. The change was apparently made possible thanks to a new viewfinder, less bulky than the last, and definitely makes the camera more complete. Also, thanks to 43rumors, we also show the image of the brand-new kit lens, really compact for a 14-42.

Both products will be officially presented on January 28th, considering the time zone, presumably along with two other new goals, always available either in silver than black. Further news of the day is the only body that should cost about $760, $910 with the kit lens and $1,050 in the kit with two lenses. The prices are obtained by conversion from other currencies, so it is easy to list those that are different and that, at least, present in more VAT. Finally here is the list of specifications already known :

  • Same 16MP sensor from the E-M5.
  • Same processor True Pic VII of the E-M1.
  • More compact body of the E-M5.
  • Integrated flash (for the first time).
  • 3-axis stabilization.
  • Supplied in a kit with a new compact lens.
