Google Assistant on Android TV expands support for other languages

Android TV now officially supports Google Assistant in Italian and in other new languages. In total the support is extended to 8 languages but Google is working to expand them further.

One of the best platforms on which to enjoy multimedia content is Android TV, although this is little used, and we find it in a few homes. For those who have chosen to use Google Assistant as a personal assistant, Android TV is the best alternative because it integrates perfectly with the Google assistant.

Until a few days ago, the Google Assistant features were available only for those who interacted with their Android TV in English. Now, instead, the Mountain View company has expanded support for new languages.

The new languages supported, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish, are added to the already established English, French, Japanese and Korean, thus bringing to 8 the languages through which we can interact with our Android TV. Google confirms that support will be expanded in the future, but there will still be a wait.

To receive the update it will be necessary to wait until the Android TV provider releases the update, it is not said that it will be shown as soon as it is released, and it is a good idea to manually check if the update is available.
