HomTom S9 Plus is the first 18: 9 smartphone with a tri-bezel-less display

HomTom S9 Plus brings the tri-bezel-less design (without frames on three sides) to a 5.99-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

HomTom S9 Plus is aimed at those who need a smartphone with large displays, reduced frames and a rather low price. It is the first model on the market to combine modern display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 to the so-called tri-bezel-less design without frames on three of the front sides.

This makes it possible to integrate a large, 5.99-inch diagonal display into a relatively compact form factor.

Having adopted an 18:9 display also allows the user to have superior ergonomics during use, compared to a model with a 16: 9 display that is necessarily wider making the grip more difficult. Under the body, the new HomTom S9 Plus uses a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor, with ARM Mali T860 MP2 GPU and supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of integrated storage expandable with a micro SD of 128 GB maximum. The aesthetic component is also treated, with a polished glass back.

HomTom S9 PlusThe maximum video resolution supported by the display is an HD, which is a resolution derived from the standard 720p but ” elongated “: the pixels are 1,440×720. Not lacking, as the fashion of the moment requires, a double camera for the rear that makes use of two 16 and 5 MP sensors. On the front, instead, dedicated to selfies and video calls there is a 13 MP camera. All this is powered by a non-removable battery of 4,050 mAh, and there is no lack of frontal biometric sensor for fingerprint scanning and Android 7.0 Nougat installed since the first start.

HomTom S9 Plus is a Dual SIM / Dual Standby smartphone, supports a multi-window mode and is compatible with Wi-Fi networks (n), Bluetooth and OTG mode for connecting USB pendrives through a dedicated adapter. The strong point of this model, as usual, the price: the device is proposed by Amazon to $229.99.
