Huawei presents the new MateBook X Pro, MateBook D and the Pro version of its Smartband
The Chinese company does not stop and wait to see the new P40 series of its smartphones on the market decide to bring new notebooks but also the Pro version of its smartband 4. MateBook X Pro is the most important model. Here are all the specs.
Huawei decides to bring three new notebooks to be capable of expanding and renewing the ” machine park ” that has been continuously enriching the world of laptops for some years. In this case, on the occasion of a small event held directly in the Huawei Store of City Life, the company decides to unveil Huawei Matebook X Pro, Matebook D (version 14 ” and 15 ”) but also the fourth generation of its smartband, in Pro version.
Huawei Matebook X Pro
We start from the most interesting product of the event or the Matebook X Pro, the top of the range, but above all, the notebook, which in addition to having power and performance, also has the latest generation design, minimal and with a display practically without frames.
The new Huawei device is designed to offer users maximum performance with an immersive video experience, and these thanks to a 13.9-inch ” Ultra FullView ” screen capable of achieving a 90% screen-to-body ratio. This means that the frames are reduced to a minimum, and the 3: 2 form factor also guarantees the best view with 3K resolution (3,000 x 2,000 pixels) with the whole range of RGB colors.
Technically, the new Huawei Matebook X Pro 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor and 512GB internal memory. This means that it is undoubtedly in step with the times in terms of power and thanks to the weight of only 1.33 kg, but also at a size of only 14.6mm in thickness, it guarantees maximum portability for those looking for precisely this type of product.
Huawei puts its own and offers on the device the now-famous Huawei Share 3.0 OneHop or a latest-generation system capable of making the passage of photos, videos, and documents between notebook and phone simple in a few seconds.
This allows you to transfer 500 photos in 1 minute or 1 1GB video in 35 seconds. Very interesting also Huawei Share 3.0 that is the possibility to share the recording of the PC screen with a smartphone.

Huawei Matebook D 14” and 15” with AMD Ryzen
In addition to the top of the Matebook X Pro range, Huawei also decides to present the new Matebook D both from 14 and 15 inches. In this case, the notebooks are equipped with the powerful AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processors.
In this case, the series provides improvements compared to the past with a new large 16:9 FullView display with side and top frames that measure only 4.8mm and 5.3mm. Compactness dominates with a screen-to-body ratio of 84% and 87%.
Important news regarding storage in Huawei MateBook D 15”: the 512GB dual-channel memory, equipped with two storage devices consisting of a solid-state disk and a hard disk, improve the memory capacity of the computer. At the same time, G-Sensor technology protects the hard drive from accidental bumps and falls.
Huawei MateBook D 14” and 15” have Fingerprint Power Button: the two-in-one button that integrates the fingerprint sensor into the power button; in this way, access to the PC is One-Touch.
Huawei MateBook D in both versions supports fast charging, ideal for those users who want to optimize the time available to them. With only 30 minutes of charging, the new Matebook D reaches up to 46% of autonomy. Its 56 Wh battery promises up to 10 hours of work in the office, 9.5 hours of video playback and 9.4 hours of web browsing (with a full charge).
Moreover, the charger of the 15-inch version also supports SuperCharge technology, allowing the PC to recharge up to 54% in just 30 minutes and allowing, with a full charge, to work for 7.2 hours in the office, support 9.2 hours of video playback and 8.8 hours of web browsing.
The charger of both Matebooks has two Type-C ports and can also be used as a data-transfer cable: two essential functions offered by a compact and light solution.

Huawei Band 4 Pro
Huawei has also decided to bring the new Pro-level smartband, which allows you to calculate the level of oxygen in the blood and monitor your heart rate as well as sleep. All thanks to the new Huawei TruSeen 3.5 technologies but also Heart Rate Monitoring and TruSleepTM 2.0 Scientific Sleep.
In this case, 11 training modes are monitored by Huawei Band 4 Pro, both for outdoor and indoor activities. Thanks to the integrated GPS, it is possible to record and track outdoor activities, such as running and swimming, even without connecting to a smartphone.
The battery life of the new Huawei Band 4 Pro guarantees continuous and intensive use of the device, up to 7 hours with active GPS. Moreover, the new Band boasts a 0.95-inch color AMOLED screen with a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels, enclosed in a metal frame; the strap is made of silicone, and the total weight of the device is 25 grams. Huawei Band 4 Pro can be used with Android (4.4 and later) and iOS (9.0 and later) smartphones.
