IFA 2014: Microsoft unveils new Lumia 830, 735 and 730
On stage at the keynote today at IFA 2014 held in Berlin, Microsoft has unveiled three new terminals of the Lumia range, the 830, 735 and 730. Microsoft has described the Nokia Lumia 830 as the terminal flagship more convenient: it is equipped with a 400 quad core Snapdragon processor at 1.2 GHz, a 5-inch display and a series camera PureView able to make shots to 10 mpx and resuming video until the Super HD resolution (the so notorious 4K) and has a thickness of 8.5 mm to 139 mm height and 70 mm in length, while weighing 150 grams (38 grams more of the iPhone 5S).
The internal memory is expandable to 16 GB with micro SD up to 128 GB, which can be inserted by removing the back cover. Aesthetically is reminiscent of the recent design of the Nokia Lumia 930.
On the software side, the Lumia 830 comes with Windows Phone 8.1, Office Mobile, OneDrive and all the services that Microsoft acquired from Nokia, as well as Cortana that although it is currently only available in the USA, starting in October will be used also in the UK.
Right from the start Cortana innovations introduced by Microsoft in the new firmware Denim: you can call the voice assistant in his own voice saying ” Hello, Cortana! ” (As an ” Ok, Google ” and ” Hey, Siri! ” ), While the Live Folders can be created to organize the Live Tiles of their home screen.
