iOS 8 available from September 17 – Compatible products
The new mobile operating system from Apple was the center of attention for a few minutes during the presentation on September 9, and it was officially revealed the date of his release: September 17. In addition to ads related to new devices such as the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch, the Cupertino giant has not failed, at the event September 9, to let you know when it will be officially released the update to version iOS 8 of its mobile operating system.
Owners of compatible devices with the update will then be happy to know that from next September 17th we may finally enjoy the novelties brought in dowry from this latest version of the software.
The update is of course completely free of charge and checks the list of compatible devices to surprise even iPhone 4S. Here are the products that are compatible according to the announcement of the North American manufacturer:
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and of course the two new iPhone 6:06 Plus.
- iPod only the fifth-generation Touch.
- iPad 2, iPad with Retina, iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina Display.
The devices are then excluded when the iPhone 4, 3G and 3GS, iPod Touch prior to the fifth generation and the first generation iPad.
Many novelties related to the new iOS 8, from a renewal of the design up to a new SDK even with 4000 new API, via some new applications such as the Health app and iCloud Drive .
