Michael Kors Access Runway: the iconic smartwatch watch returns with GPS

Among the most interesting features, we find the integration of GPS, which allows you to monitor trips and walks leaving your smartphone at home. The waterproof certification of 3ATM (30 meters deep) allows it to be used in the swimming pool, to monitor – even with third-party apps – even swimming training. All with the support of monitoring the heartbeat on the wrist.

Slower than initially imagined, but smartwatches are slowly making their way into the world of watches. In fact, more and more users are attracted by the monitoring functions of daily and night activity and by the smart functions, which make it possible to extract the mobile phone less often from the pockets.

One of the world’s watchmaking giants, Fossil, aims a lot on this type of devices and is increasingly permeating its range with smartwatch, both hybrid type (combining smart functions and appearance with analog clock) and digital with touchscreen.

The Fossil strategy is based on several brands and now Michael Kors launches a new smartwatch with the design of his iconic Runway watch. Equipped with Wear OS by Google technology and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, the new touchscreen smartwatch Michael Kors Access Runway is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones and offers access to smart assistants directly on the wrist with Google Assistant and Mobvoi Assistant ( for China).

In recent days, Fossil had also announced that it had reached an agreement to produce watches under the license of the BMW brand (Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaf). The agreement covers the production of traditional watches, but also of smartwatches between now and 2023. The first products are planned for 2019.
