MSI Vortex G25: the family of compact gaming PC

The strengths of the new MSI Vortex G25 is the dimensions and the integrated performance hardware. They are aimed at the most demanding gamers.

MSI unveiled the new MSI Vortex G25, a PC Gaming family that condenses the power of a high-end desktop into the size of a console. At the base of the new computers, we find Intel CPU of eighth gen. of the Core i5 and Core i7 families, a nVidia GeForce 10 series GPU, with a 30% performance guarantee compared to previous models. Everything will be kept under control by the Cooler Boost Titan cooling system with 2 fans and 8 heatpipes.

The aesthetic is sober, but not too much, with a blaze of LEDs and clear lines that give shape to a chassis of 2.5 kg of weight and 2.5 liters of volume. Through typical encumbrances of a console the new Vortex G25 want to find space in the living room without sacrificing high performance even with the new-generation titles, and are also ideal candidates to prepare a computer designed for virtual reality, both video and audio side with Nahimic VR technologies.

MSI Vortex G25The front panel integrates two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a power jack to connect a VR display and, despite the size, there are also possibilities for upgrades. The case can be opened easily to access internal components and replace RAM and storage units. Computers will use an ESS Saber HiFi Audio DAC, supporting Hi-Res Audio with 24-bit/192 kHz sampling quality.

MSI Vortex G25The first model that will be MSI Vortex G25-022US, with Intel Core i7-8700 processor with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, nVidia GeForce GTX 1070, 256 GB SSD combined with a 1 TV to 7200 rpm HDD, Killer connectivity DoubleShot Pro with Killer Shield and Bluetooth 4.1 support.
