Noctua announces two asymmetric CPU cooler fans with 140mm

The Austrian company unveils two new products in addition to the large and interesting line-up of CPU coolers: Noctua NH-D15S and Noctua NH-C14S.

Noctua NH-D15S is a dual-tower heatsink, evolution in single fan of the famous model NH-D15. Thanks to its asymmetrical design is guaranteed a higher compatibility both for many micro-ATX and ATX motherboards with PCIe slot next to the CPU socket, both with banquets of RAM up to 65mm high. The heat sink is equipped with a 140 mm fan, but users who prefer performance can install a second fan 120 or 140 mm on the front.

Noctua NH-C14S is instead a CPU cooler top-flow and then with an air flow from top to bottom. Thanks to its design and the possibility of installing the fan both above and below the radiator, ensures compatibility still higher even with the houses of reduced dimensions. By installing the fan below, the height of the heat sink is only 115 mm and can be installed on several homes for HTPC systems while still providing remarkable performance.

Thanks to the new design of the fins and the new NF-A14 PWM fan, the new heat sink provides ” performance similar ” to those of his predecessor dual fan (NH-C14) with versatility at the same time higher. With the new model can be installed banquets RAM as high as 70 mm. Specifically, the fan operates within a range from 300 to 1500 rpm, with a maximum noise level of 24.6 dBA.
