Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20: First smartphone with notch

They were in the air for some time and finally Samsung has decided to officially present the new Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 in India. They are the first smartphone of the manufacturer with a display called ” Infinity-V ” that is with a real drop notch that the South Korean company had never yet inserted in their smartphones but now instead has the need, in a way or in another, to insert. At the moment, it is not clear whether the two devices will arrive in Europe.

The new Galaxy M10 first has a 6.22-inch display with an HD resolution of 1,520×720 pixels and a 19: 9 aspect ratio as mentioned, the particularity of this new device is the presence of the drop notch on the display that allows you to maximize the usability of the device with a ratio between display and body equal to 90%. A lot of technology on board even if on a device with a more or less low band.

The Galaxy M10 has an Octa-Core processor like the Exynos 7870 with 2 or 3 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16 or 32GB of memory that can still be expanded with MicroSD up to 512GB. At the camera level, we are at the rear of a dual sensor 13 Mpx standard with a focal aperture of f/1.7 to which is added a second ultra-wide 5MPx sensor with a focal aperture of f/2.2 and amplitude of 120 degrees.

Several technical specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy M20 which is a more powerful device with a slightly larger panel but also with a Full HD resolution always in 19: 9 and always with the new drop notch. Here we have an Exynos 7904 processor that works with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and with an internal memory of 32 or 64GB expandable up to 512GB.

At the multimedia level we have the presence of a double cam identical for sensor characteristics to that inserted in the younger brother M10. A change is instead of the front camera which is here 8 MPx for selfie of higher quality.

The connectivity sees the presence of 802.11b / g / n WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM). Also present and fortunately a USB Type-C port, the 3.5 mm audio jack and a 5,000 mAh battery. The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.5 interface.
