Samsung Galaxy Note 8 arriving on August 26 at NewYork but without a fingerprint reader on screen

The new phablet of the South Korean home will most likely be presented at an event in New York by the end of August. Unfortunately, the latest rumors seem to confirm the absence of the fingerprint sensor under the front screen.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could arrive as soon as possible on the market. According to a Korean source, it seems that Samsung’s management offices are deciding on an official presentation with a single media event in New York City for next August 26th. If the date is confirmed, the fact that the South Korean company wants to anticipate the competition, like that of Apple, is to be able to conquer a significant advantage over the arrival of the new iPhone.

That is why a presentation a few days before the start of IFA 2017 in Berlin would even allow for more media coverage of the new phablet than we know has to regain the lost trust of users after the false passage of the past Samsung Note 7.

If the news of an early arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can only make you excited, what the same company has just communicated could somehow undermine part of this enthusiasm. The new phablet will not have a fingerprint sensor underneath the front screen as it has been back in recent times.

This is because today’s technologies do not allow for a full uniformity of display brightness, and so it would be possible to have a so-called ” ghosting ” effect that could undermine the entire functionality of the smartphone.

Just the unsatisfactory results of this type of solution seem to have left that technology in the current Galaxy S8 and S8+, which, as we know, find a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. In this case, Samsung’s will was to be able to implement the new technology that would allow a biometric sensor to be positioned below the famous ” Infinity Display “.

Nothing is wrong anymore since the above would leave a brighter area than the rest of the display and unusable during everyday life. It is a shame, obviously, why to remove that back button, which we hope to be placed at least below the camera and not next door, would surely have made the Galaxy Note 8 much more beautiful and clean.

According to the latest rumors, the new phablet of Samsung will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display virtually ” borderless ” as it likes users lately, so a Snapdragon 836 or Exynoss 8895 processor, at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB if not 128GB of internal memory. All this will add the dual camera to the rear, a novelty in the Samsung home, which should be made up of a 13MP sensor with wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens to allow zooming up to 3X.
