Sony Introduces A77 II – A new edition of its flagship APS-C

Sony has just unveiled its new Sony A77 translucent mirror camera to II, then decided not to change the acronym but simply add a version stamp. The DSLT has a 24.3 MP Exmor CMOS sensor, with sensitivity ranging from 100 to 25600 ISO (expandable to 50-51200) and chip structure uniform, ie no space between the adjacent pixels.

The magnesium housing is sturdy and weather sealed, dust-proof and moisture-proof seals, and the BIONZ processor X (already used for the models α7 and α7R) also allows you to capture video in Full HD at 50fps with AVCHD 2.0 encoding.

The viewfinder is an XGA OLED Tru-Finder, large and firm, while the LCD 3″ has a particular articulation that allows maximum freedom of movement in 3 directions. Source of pride are the 79 points of focus for detection of phase, of which 15 in the cross, representing an absolute record has also been introduced a new algorithm that allows to predict the location of the moving subject and the AF lock-on feature that recognizes the subject by the color and position of the scene. The Central Point is sensitive up to f / 2,8 and-2EV.

Thanks to the translucent mirror the burst is much faster than traditional APS-C DSLR, reaching 12 frames per second. The buffer also allows you to capture up to 60 consecutive images to JPG. The integrated Wi-Fi lets you connect one-touch, easy to share shots with Xperia smartphone and tablet or other Android devices compatible with NFC technology, as well as with laptops VAIO.

With one-touch function also activates the Smart Remote Control, which connects the device to a mobile phone to operate the remote shutter and take a picture.
