Synology has launched the new DiskStation DS115. Equipped with dual-core processor and compact design, the 1-bay NAS server with enables home offices and small businesses to take advantage of centralized data archiving, file sharing without limits, cloud sync, multimedia streaming, home surveillance and much more.
The processor of the DS115 is dual-core and thanks to its support. You can offer high speeds file transfer (up to 111 MB per second read and up to 104 MB per second write), increasing by 36% the speed writing over the previous model. Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, the NAS is connected to external hard drives and other USB devices.
From the point of view of ” energy efficiency, consumption totaled only 5.44 W in ” hibernation ” and 10.21W when in operation.
Synology DiskStation DS115 uses DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system 5.1m which includes a number of additional applications to increase productivity and multimedia features. You can synchronize files across multiple devices and network storage cloud, stream multimedia content on your TV via DLNA, AirPlay and Chromecast install a home security system or create digital albums with the package notes Station. The price was not disclosed.
