The new series of HP OfficeJet Pro 9000 smart printers
HP has announced the availability in our country of new OfficeJet Pro 9000 smart printers, designed specifically for small businesses. They are equipped with smart features and based on an innovative design.
HP wants to make printers smarter. The target? Eliminate, or at least reduce, all those repetitive tasks in order to increase business productivity. We had anticipated it in March but only now has availability been announced in our country.

In practice, true innovation is to be found in what HP defines as Smart Tasks, a solution that automates scanning functions: documents can be scanned front/back with a touch and automatically organized in local folders or on the cloud. Instead of simple scans in the form of images, it is possible to obtain modifiable documents on which it is possible to do textual searches, thus simplifying the cataloging of large volumes.
Scanning and searching activities can be performed remotely, even on mobile devices. HP Instant Ink is a solution that wants to reduce one of the most common ” bottlenecks ” in small companies: the management of ink refills.
Thanks to this technology, it will not be necessary to worry about ordering it since the printer will automatically manage the issue, providing to start the order when the ink is about to run out. Companies can decide whether to join the Instant Ink Business program, a solution for those who manage a high volume of prints (around 700 pages per month), which allows a significant cost savings of up to 70%.
The 9000 series also winks at the environment. It is designed to limit energy consumption and is made by recycling plastic and electronic components. If you rely on HP also for the management of the paper, then you can be sure that this is produced by responsibly managed sources.
