Two new Android smartphone from Acer
Debut at CES in Las Vegas, with commercialization in January and February, for two new Acer smartphone based on Android OS and intended to further expand the company’s product range taiwanse. At CES 2015 in Las Vegas Acer announces two new smartphones based on Android operating system, with which to extend its offerings in a very competitive industry but undoubtedly still interesting.
The first model is Liquid Z410, smartphone with 4.5-inch display combined with quad core processor with support for 4G LTE connectivity: 5 MP rear camera and 2MP front for a price of €129 in the European market, with availability from the end of February.
Liquid Jade S is given of the upper band, based on SoC MediaTek MT6752M: it is an architecture to 8 core ARM Cortex A53 1.5GHz clock and equipped with a support to 64bit. For the 5-inch screen diagonal Acer does not declare in the press release the resolution, which we presume not be Full HD or higher in consideration of the purchase cost.
To characterize this model support 4G LTE (Cat. 4) and 13MP rear camera with F1.8 aperture focal, combined with a front-facing camera 5 MP. Acer has implemented voice commands for the self-timer, and pearl front camera as for the rear, so as to facilitate the obtaining of images when it is difficult to reach the shutter button.
Acer has implemented some accessory functionalities that improve the performance of the shots. Dual Shot allows you to create a collage of images taken simultaneously from the front and rear cameras for an effect image-image and video-in-video. Mode Gourmet improved feeds Instagram with delicious shots, while the Auto-Detect-scenes, automatically adjusts the best camera settings making it very useful for novice users.
Liquid Jade S to debut will be combined with the operating system Android 4.4 KitKat but this year will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Liquid Jade S will be available in European markets in January in two different colors, Cosmic Black (black cosmic) and Lunar White (white moon), with a starting price of €299.
