Western Digital, new storage units for security systems: HDD up to 14 TB and microSD up to 512 GB
The WD Purple SC QD101 Ultra Endurance microSD cards will be available in 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 GB capacities, based on 96-layer 3D NAND memories. As for the 14 TB WD Purple HDD it is added to the models already on the market of the same series offering even more space.
Western Digital adds to its catalog new products of the Purple series, dedicated to storage units optimized to ensure the best performance related to the world of security in combination with image acquisition systems, for example: in the case of surveillance cameras up to more complex systems of video analysis or artificial intelligence.
Two products presented dedicated to the same target customer described above, the WD Purple SC QD101 Ultra Endurance microSD cards designed specifically for equipment manufacturers, retailers and installers in the security camera market or any device that needs to store sensitive images, and the WD Purple 14 TB Hard Disk Drive to equip centralized image acquisition and processing systems.
