WhatsApp revolutionizes vocal notes. Here is the news released on Android and iOS

Finally, it will no longer be necessary to individually open a voice message to listen to it. In fact, continuous playback will be a feature available on Android and iOS. Here’s how it will work.

WhatsApp, the most famous messaging system in the world has introduced an important novelty for listening to voice messages on both Android and iOS smartphones. Here, from now on, users will have the possibility to reproduce voice messages in sequence, one after the other, as happens, for example: in the competing Telegram app, for a more coherent and orderly flow compared to today.

WhatsApp: what changes with the new vocal notes

All users in possession of an Android or iOS smartphone will now be able to listen to more vocal notes without opening them individually. It will no longer be necessary to launch the reproduction of each voice message arrived within the conversation but starting one, all the subsequent ones will be played in chronological order with respect to the time of receipt. The novelty was released in the public version of WhatsApp for Android, but we know that many users are using this new feature also on the iPhone.

When the client detects the arrival of two or more voice messages, it plays them all automatically, signaling the end of each voice message with a short audio file. Interesting the presence of two different tones when the vocal message ends: one indicates that it is finished but there is one next, the other indicates that it is finished and is the last of the sequence.

Voice messages have now become one of the most-used features in apps that allow them, especially among younger people. They have replaced the ” old ” phone calls and are sent when the message itself cannot be written. The new system will delight users who will be able to listen to audio notes much more easily and immediately.
