Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and Mi Band 4 unlock Windows notebooks with the new firmware
The latest firmware update of Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and Xiaomi Mi Band 4 allows owners of Windows notebooks to unlock the device through Chinese bracelets.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 and Xiaomi Mi Band 4, the Chinese company’s low-cost bracelets, have just received a new firmware update that fixes several bugs related to the user interface. In addition to the usual bug fixes, there is news, including a feature that allows you to unlock a Windows notebook, and support for AppleID log-ins for the first time in the line-up.

The Mi Fit app (version 4.0.17) is also updated, which now allows Xiaomi bracelets of the last two generations to access using Apple ID credentials. The update also includes bug fixes on the two devices. The new firmware released on the bracelets is instead of v1.0.9.42, for Mi Band 3 or 4. To date, there seems to be no news for the new Mi Band 3i.
