Acer Chromebook 11: More rugged and durable but at the same price as always

Acer announced Monday the new model of the family Chromebook 11, with a chassis more resistant to twisting and stress, new hardware and a list price very beneficial.

In the Las Vegas Acer, announced, among many models, a new Chromebook 11 that integrates between the new design more robust and 9 hours of autonomy, at least according to the data released by the company. The new model retains a very attractive list price, without renouncing to offer adequate performance thanks to the lightweight Chrome OS, the operating system from Google that is based on the use of the massive cloud for sharing and collaboration of files and documents.

According to Gartner data for the first quarter of 2015, Acer holds 34% market share of the Chromebook with the new model and the company intends to maintain its leadership. The new Acer Chromebook 11 may fall from 60 cm without suffering any physical damage, and compared to the previous model has a greater resistance to twisting and stress. All without being too cumbersome: it weighs 1.1 kg and is often 18.6 mm.

Under the shell, we find Intel Celeron quad-core supported by 2 or 4 GB of RAM, depending on the model, while storage side there are versions with 16 and 32 GB of eMMC.
