Amazon 3D Smartphone – Jeff Bezos calls to find out June 18 in Seattle

Amazon has announced a conference presentation by Jeff Bezos to announce a new mysterious device: June 18 – a week before Google I / O 2014 – Seattle will be shown to the press a device that lets users open mouth. At least, those of the spot posted on YouTube to publicize the event. The only detail that emerged was a picture of the body that you can see above, but the rumors in recent months have revealed something on your 3D smartphone with Fire OS is a fork of Android.

On the web had been published images of the alleged Kindle Phone and in April the rumor analyzed the likely characteristics of the smartphone. It should not be a high-end product like iPhone or Galaxy S5, as a competitor to the Nexus 5: The screen would not exceed the resolution of HD Ready 720p 4.7″.

Better than the two cameras, respectively 13Mpixel and 2Mpixel, but it’s nothing that makes a miracle. Always assuming that these specifications are confirmed by the U.S. presentation.

The added value of the device should be just the 3D, made by projecting holograms of the surface of the smartphone. It should not be a problem of compatibility Kindle Phone with Android, because it is an infrastructure designed specifically to convert them automatically: it remains to find out how much it will cost actually the device – which could even be free.

Amazon has anticipated Google with Fire TV and now aims to impress with three-dimensional images. Will be successful?
