ASUS Republic of Gamers announces the gaming mouse ROG Gladius II Origin
Available as an alternative to the ROG Gladius II model, this new gaming mouse has an advanced 12000 DPI optical sensor.
Asus today announced the availability on the market of the ROG Gladius II Origin optical gaming mouse, the third model of the ROG Gladius series which adopts the typical ergonomic design. The heart of this model is represented by a 12,000 DPI and 250 IPS optical sensor.
This is the Pixart PMW3360 sensor. Moreover, while maintaining the same ergonomic design of the previous models of the ROG Gladius series, the new mouse allows the adjustment of the PPE with a button placed at the top and offers maximum comfort adapting to various grip modes or hand size. The rubber panels on both sides of the mouse present the classic Maya finish of the Asus ROG peripherals.
ASUS ROG Gladius II Origin can be customized thanks to the ” push-fit ” setting that allows the user to change the switches in order to provide the device with the ideal resistance for clicks. This feature also extends the life of the mouse, since it is possible to easily replace worn or faulty switches. ROG Gladius II Origin adopts left, and right buttons separated by the mouse body; this feature reduces the force required for each click and improves the sensation to the touch. Furthermore, the wheel encoder is of the Alps type.
The new ROG mouse supports Aura Sync technology and is based on the Armory software. Colors and lighting effects can be customized on three different lighting areas. Asus ROG Gladius II Origin adopts a detachable cable and includes two different types of cable as well as a practical padded case. The additional cable eliminates the need to detach the main one from the computer: simply remove and store the mouse body in the case and use the second cable.
