New Fujifilm X-T100: Small, but complete
The camera collects the inheritance of the entry level XA models and declines it in a more complete machine, equipped with an electronic viewfinder. As was already happening on the XA series, to keep costs down, Fujifilm opted for a traditional CMOS sensor with a Bayer color filter instead of its X-Trans. The Fujifilm X-T100 adopts a 24.2-megapixel classic APS-C with phase detection focusing on the sensor surface over 91 areas.
Fujifilm X-T100 – Born with retro design in the rangefinder style, the mirrorless Fujifilm have adopted with the X-T series a structure more reminiscent of the forms of reflex, with a viewfinder in a central position and a square dome similar to the old housing of the pentaprism. X-T1 had a warm welcome from the public, and its smaller and accessible sister X-T10 represented a very successful model for Fujifilm: the next models X-T2 and X-T20 were even better.
Now Fujifilm plays a new card in this vein and presents the new Fujifilm X-T100, which aims to be even more aggressive, from the point of view of price, the older sisters. The perfect companion for the new camera is the Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ motorized zoom lens. The couple takes up once assembled a little more space than a compact camera. In addition to the 3″ adjustable display, Come said uses a 2.36 million dot OLED viewfinder.
In the technical equipment of the camera, there is no lack of 4K video (even if only 15p) and Full HD movies up to 100 fps, in addition to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
