Fujitsu presents the LIFEBOOK U939X: The lightest convertible laptop in the world
Fujitsu introduces the new LIFEBOOK U939X convertible laptop: with just 1.015 kg of weight it qualifies as the lightest in the world, but does not renounce the eighth-generation Intel Core vPro CPU.
Fujitsu introduced the new Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939X convertible laptop, which is on the market as the lightest business-class convertible in its class.
The new laptop integrates improvements over the previous model and is equipped with eighth-generation Intel Core processors. The second-generation LIFEBOOK U939 and LIFEBOOK U729X ultra-portables are also presented.
Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939 and U939X: Lightness without sacrificing power
The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939X weighs just 1.015 kg despite the screen diagonal of 13.3 inches and the possibility of using it in tablet mode. Precisely for this mode there is a pen with which to write on the screen, storable inside the same device thanks to a special housing.
The touch-sensitive screen has an anti-reflective coating and is made of high-density glass to ensure greater strength. A Wacom AES digitizer is integrated for the use of the pen, which guarantees the possibility for professionals to take notes directly on the screen of the device as well as to sign documents digitally.
The new second-generation Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939 is even lighter than the U939X, with just 920 grams of weight, thanks also to the classic non-convertible portable form factor. There is an infrared video camera on the chassis that allows you to use Windows Hello for secure access to your computer.
The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U939X and U939 are equipped with the recently announced 8th generation Intel Core vPro processors. They are also equipped with USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 technology. The RAM reaches a maximum of 16 GB and the storage on SSD up to 1 TB.
Fujitsu has also announced the availability of the LIFEBOOK U729X, a 12.5-inch convertible with an anti-glare screen that can be used with a pen (with a special inductive charging slot) with similar technical specifications to those of the U939X model, but with greater weight.
