iOS 8.0.2 on iPhone 4S : Improves Performance

As with any new operating system, iOS 8 Apple decided to also support iPhone longtime precisely from the 4s of 2011. Since this has a very dated hardware do not work all the news, so you will have to give up Continuity and the predictive keyboard, for example. Normally with early release software the iPhone and iPad oldest falter due to the increased amount of features and graphical effects, and so it happened for the 4S.

According to a test conducted by Ars Technica on GM, which is the final release candidate, the iPhone 4S becomes slower in almost all transactions compared to iOS 7.1.2, so the update was likely to be a step backwards rather than one in forward.

It often happens that later versions of the operating system are refined to run well on the device even more advanced in years, and it seems that this has happened (at least partially) with iOS 8.0.2. A recent comparison between video-4S with 7.1.2 and 8.0.2 have seen a marked improvement in usability, speed almost identical between the two OS.

Only Safari and the App Store take longer to load, but it is also true that iOS 8.0.2 on page then comes all at once, while on the previous operating system is seen while charging, appearing slowly. Today, owners of the iPhone 4S can take the upgrade with no worries.
