Moment Fisheye 14mm is the new external lens dedicated to the most popular smartphones that aims to provide an alternative to what is provided by the manufacturers. This is not an absolute novelty, external objectives to be attached to smartphones have been on the market for some time.
According to what reported by the manufacturer, Moment Fisheye 14mm allows to have a viewing angle of 170° (greater than 120° of most smartphones) thus also exceeding as much as possible with models such as iPhone 11 Pro.
Always the company calls Moment Fisheye 14mm a full-frame lens. Obviously, it is not to be confused with the 35 mm format but instead means that this external lens has no dark corners, vignetting and allows you to take full advantage of the smartphone sensor (especially in the case of the latest iPhones). Compared to the 15 mm model, 15% more of the sensor surface is used. All thanks to the structure that provides a bi-aspherical lens.
Moment Fisheye 14mm can be used with the most popular brands of smartphones such as iPhone, Pixel, OnePlus and Samsung thus guaranteeing broad compatibility.
There is also the Pro Camera app created by Moment (available for Android and iOS) that allows you to add filters for distortion correction. In particular, these features are currently available only for iOS while on Android, it will arrive in the coming weeks.
