New Asus N Series with Skylake and USB Type-C

Asus announced new portable family N high-end Intel’s sixth-generation and new connectivity options.

Continue the invasion of CPU architecture-based Skylake with their new introduction in the family Asus N Series laptops. In their maximum declination new systems using high-end processors family i7, which are combined with ultra-high definition, a discrete GPU from NVIDIA and produced a number of options with regard to connectivity with peripherals and external devices.

The family N comes in two versions of different sizes. Asus N552, the smallest, has a 15.6-inch display, while Asus N753 uses a panel of 17.3″. Both units are integrated LCD IPS (in-plane switching) 100% of the sRGB gamut and support full resolution 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels), but the user can choose different variants to full HD resolution always 100% sRGB to a lower price.

Asus integrates the new N Series processors Skylake sixth generation of the family Core i5 and Core i7 6300HQ 6700HQ, supported by a maximum of 16GB of RAM DDR4. The laptops will also have a dedicated solution with regard to the graphics and will be provided with versions GeForce GTX 950M and GTX960M. On the storage front, the user can choose from 5,400 rpm HDD or SSD up to 512 GB of up to 1,500MB/s.

Very substantial list of built-in ports: three USB 3.0 ports over traditional new N Series handsets integrate a USB Type-C reversible enabled the transfer rate of USB 3.1. We also find an RJ45 Ethernet port, an HDMI connector, headphone jack and headphones and a mini DisplayPort. On the audio front Asus continues to use proprietary technology SonicMaster with B&O ICEpower amplifiers in class D.
